VIP Dining Series
Friends and supporters of Steppingstone Scholars enjoyed
the first of five dining experiences at the Four Seasons Fountain Room
with Harold Carmichael and his wife B on May 20, 2009. Guests enjoyed a
champagne reception and a three-course meal created by New Executive Chef
Rafael Gonzalez.
Guests bid on the exclusive dinner series which was offered at the Spring
Salsa 2009 to support Steppingstone programs. Steppingstone Scholars transforms
the lives of underserved Philadelphia schoolchildren through education.
Steppingstone believes that all children, regardless of race and background,
deserve the opportunity that education affords and "a seat at the
table".
Mayor Michael Nutter, Lee & Bob Woodruff, John Hess and Abigail Disney
will round out the dining series VIPs.
