Staff
The Steppingstone staff is a dedicated group of professionals who are committed to carrying out the organization’s mission.
Nina Weisbord, President, Prior to accepting
the position as President, of Steppingstone Scholars, Inc. Nina spent
a total of eight years as a school administrator, the past five as
Director of Institutional Advancement at the Baldwin School. Prior
to her interest in schools and education, Nina owned and operated a
San Francisco manufacturing company. She has two children enrolled
in area Independent Schools. Nina received her Bachelor’s degree from
Ithaca College and her Masters in Business from John F. Kennedy University. nweisbord@steppingstonescholars.org,

Christine M. Beady, Director of Administration, is a graduate of Peirce College with a BS in Business Administration/ Management. Christine has over 14 years of experience in the administrative field. Edward Mensah, Director of the Scholars Program, taught for five years at the Abington Friends School where he was the head of the soccer program for 8 years as well as a member of the Admissions Committee and Diversity Committee. A native of Ghana, Eddie attended an international boarding school in Canada prior to college and then received his B.A. in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College. Caryn Rivers, Director of Admissions. Caryn's independent schools experience began in kindergarten at Episcopal Academy. After graduation from Episcopal, she had the good fortune to study Afro-American Studies at Harvard University. Post-graduate work with the Coro Foundation in New York City followed; a Master's in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from the New School rounded out her education. While in New York, Caryn's personal and professional experience led her through various private, public and not-for-profit sector adventures.
