FRIENDS OF STEPPINGSTONE SCHOLARS

Steppingstone Scholars is currently working with two affinity groups The Friends of Steppingstone Scholars and The Young Friends of Steppingstone Scholars.

The Friends of Steppingstone Scholars is a group of individuals and families dedicated to supporting the enrichment and  supplemental needs of our Scholars at partner schools. They are individuals, who are interested in helping students successfully transition into the fabric of our partner school communities.

The Young Friends of Steppingstone Scholars is a group of young professionals, 35 and younger, that have a philanthropic spirit and want to help support and make a change in Philadelphia education through Steppingstone Scholars. Our Young Friends host events, volunteer and offer insight on how we can further our efforts. In return, Young Friends gain access to professional and social benefits for their support.

If you are interested in getting involved you can do so in
a number of ways!

1

TUTOR A SCHOLAR

You and / or your high schooler can volunteer to tutor our Scholars on Saturday(s) from 10am to 1pm at Drexel University Korman Center. Tutoring is conducted September to May. Come tutor every week or just when it fits into your schedule!

2

From legos to school supplies, we are in need of gently used and new items to help our Scholars succeed in their schools and bridge the gap in resources they have access to. Support will help improve their experiences in our summer, Saturday, and school based programs. If you would like to donate items or help to host a drive.
