EITC:    Steppingstone Scholars is an approved Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) under Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) programs.  Pennsylvania’s EITC program awards tax credits to businesses that make contributions to educational improvement organizations or scholarship organizations. Full guidelines are available at

United Way:    If your employer participates in a United Way giving program, consider naming Steppingstone as a recipient organization. Giving through the United Way is an easy, effective way to make a contribution through the convenience of payroll deduction. When making your pledge, please indicate “Steppingstone Scholars, #16254.”

Matching Gifts:    Maximize your support by designating Steppingstone as the recipient of matching funds. Please check with your Human Resource department to see whether they have this program in place.
