Mentorship and tutoring are important ways in which Steppingstone deepens its engagement with Scholars. These volunteer opportunities support the educational needs of students while also, creating relationships that can nurture workforce development opportunities.

Steppingstone encourages college students and professionals, especially those just beginning their careers, to connect with our Scholars through mentorship. Our mentors are role models, advocates, and supporters who help open doors to social, cultural, educational, and professional experiences for the students we serve. Whether offered by text, e-mail, or in-person, sharing your personal insights and advice with our Scholars as they navigate their own educational path is invaluable.
